The Liuzzi Group was created by Fred Liuzzi in 1956, his primary focus was commercial property, Fred forged a name in the Melbourne property sector.

The business has evolved and expanded into other areas and required a more contemporary branding approach to reflect this, taking the business into the future.

Retaining the Lion as a link to the heraldry of the Liuzzi family and to the legacy of Fred Liuzzi was important. We achieved this with a modern Lion that incorporates the establishment date of the business. The icon is used with restraint and provides texture and a window into the legacy of the Liuzzi name and company.

FORMA DJR IS A REVIVAL OF ALDO NOVARESE'S LATE MID-CENTURY NEO-GRO- TESQUE FOR THE ITALIAN NEBIOLO FOUNDRY. WORKING TOGETHER WITH ROGER BLACK AND INDRA KUPFERSCHMID, DAVID JONATHAN ROSS STUDIED THE ORIGINAL METAL TYPE AND INTERPRETED THE DESIGN AS A LARGE FAMILY WITH OPTICAL SIZES, ROUNDED CORNERS, AND TAPERING STEMS.

A MODERN CLASSIC - WITH STRONG ITALIAN HERITAGE, A TIMELESS TYPEFACE TO TAKE THE LIUZZI GROUP INTO THE FUTURE.
